Congrats ! You should make a new thread in the single turbo forum so everyone can see that E85 is the shiits. Why did you stop at 21 psi ?

What type of dyno did you use before? Maybe one read higher or lower than the other ?

What afr's ?
np bro!
thanks, same dyno as before!

the time goes way to fast when playing... had to call it a night.
afrs high 10's low 11's..

i wonder how many hp my turbo (t78 66mm) is able to put down?

this sheet cannot be compared to the others down low because we started at 3500 instead of 3000 and it boosted a hell of a lot more.

Hmm, good question ! It took Dan Schechter 38psi on a T88 just to make 640 whp. I know your T78 has more power left in it, but how much and how efficient? I don't know.......

no doubt, that turbo is so old ...............I bet you would have alot better numbers with a Gt42R

Gus and i were really happy when our first dyno test displayed 604 engine hp! Then came 620 hp, couldnt believe the numbers at such low boost and rpm but thats what the RotoTest recorded with a calculated power loss of 12%. Big thanks to my buddy Mikael that did the stage 2 streetport job.

Well i can tell u one thing. The Trust/Greddy turbo's are not efficient untill it reaches about 1.7-1.8kg of boost, wich is about 25-26,5 psi. Since the compressor map is still at 55-60% when ur at 21 psi. While it will jump to 80-85% at 25-26psi.

The Trust turbo's are made for above 30 psi of pressure. And are made for GTR and Supra engines who needs high boost for it to give alot of power.

So if u keep pushing the boost up u will see alot more power mate.

Im looking forward to dynoing my car again with a smaller bridge port and bigger exhaust ports in 3 weeks on a roto test as well. This time i will have 6x1680cc injectors And hopefully we can crank up the boost. As we did about 530rwhp at 20 psi, with 3 broken sideseals, 1 stuck sideseal and 1 stuck corner seal, due to a engine over rev :P

Where did you find a compressor map for the t78?

Keep us updated

Never found one. This is what i was told by the Greddy/Trust person i spoke to a few years back when i had a TD06-25G. And a freind had just bought his T78. Mine broke and i was despratly trying to get it rebuilt. Wich led me to talking to a rep for Trust Japan. And he asked me about power and boost. And he then told me the efficency of the turbo. The T78 and T88 is actually made for boosting above 30 psi.

So turn the boost up and ul reach 600+rwhp with that sucker

Thanks to ML wankeltrim and Lasse wankel for letting me dyno the car at the rototest (hub dyno).

I'm not calling you a liar, but your torque/hp crossover is nowhere near the 5252 rpm's that it has to be. Either that graph is off or the numbers are wrong.

Go E85.

If you read the whole thread you will see this has been mentioned before (check #60), the graph is shown in HORSEPOWER and NEWTON METER, not ft.lbs. That is why the crossover is off.
