I call it a cross between 100 proof, propane and popcorn!
At least it don't stink of that chemical commonly found in 'Import', 'Q' and certain 'brands' of Methanol!

It's definitely a cross of something... LOL.. I sometimes got a smell similiar to alky but with a twist.. hehe.. Just can't seem to figure out what the twist is...

I had to move an R100 off the dyno which runs on that certain brand of methanol you speak of and that **** just plain stinks... Makes great power but dam it really f---kin stinks...

We made 501hp last night and the air quality was absolute crap..
Probably good for another 10~15hp on a good day..

Overall i'm quite happy as now this car could be driven everyday at less then pump gas prices... We couldn't get very far running on C16 unless you break the lock off your wallet and nowadays that's not feasible..

13 sec cars need no more than 89 octane. But the pump was just opened in Massapequa. Last I heard it was $2.99 a gallon. Enzo, did it go up?

Yeah but this is also a stock port motor.. I think on a better day we would've made even more. The SP made 511hp with C16.

The conditions couldnt have been worse. It was 94 degrees in the shop humidity was 72%. And I had 225 tires that were spinning the dyno I believe... Mph in 4th was 112 on the dyno and I have gone 150 in 4th gear on the street.

NYC my numbers are kissing your rear bumper.

went a long way just to take her to the track today but it started to rain just as the first cars lined up. The first time it rains in a month had to be today!

Will have some more dynotime this week!

Tonight we dynoed the car again

at 21psi and 77% duty cycle it produced 548rwhp and 390rwtorque (ftlbs) or 528,8nm

e85 is the ****

Thanks to ML wankeltrim and Lasse wankel for letting me dyno the car at the rototest (hub dyno).

forgot to email you last night, I just sent myself a reminder........ so I'll email you when I get home !

Congrats ! You should make a new thread in the single turbo forum so everyone can see that E85 is the shiits. Why did you stop at 21 psi ?

What type of dyno did you use before? Maybe one read higher or lower than the other ?

What afr's ?
