We are now offering remote Adaptronic tuning of rotary powered vehicles. This service should only be chosen when you do not have a competent local tuner. This service is being offered to help get everyone to their end goals. Having a good ECU is only one piece of the puzzle in getting to a reliable, and properly running car. There are a few drawbacks to this service. First and foremost is requires all owners to have mechanically sound vehicles. Generally a lot of time spent " tuning " is fixing mechanical issues. This includes improper timing setup, fixing leaks, setting base fuel pressure, changing spark plugs etc. This is why this service should NOT be chosen over having your car dyno tuned in person by a competent shop.
Below is a dyno chart of a forum members car I have tuned remotely( 401rwhp/3xx torque @ 13psi on pump gas) The tuning is done via engine data logs and ecu files. It can take up to 2 weeks for the service to be complete( 12 logs of tuning). Generally its 1 ecu file per day. The price is $300 without a direct ecu purchase, or $150 with a new ecu purchase.
I will have a new blog post put up with all of the details.
