They are CF/plastic replacement parts. And not CF overlay on stock parts.

I had some fitment issues but overall I'm pleased with how they look. I'll take some better pics once I get to see my car

Did some work on the SSM FD today...

Put the FEED CF sides on

99 Front, brake ducts, lip, etc..

Mazdaspeed SMIC, Mazdaspeed AST, HKS intake with KNs, Mazdaspeed Strutbrace, etc.

And everything closed up

I also put the RE carbon Street diffuser on.. but needs to tweak a little later on.

I'd be interested in some close up,(or one close-up), shot of how the Feed side skirts were attached. I've mostly seen screws - several on each side. Did you use screws or a glue?
Also - dealing with the oil coolers/99 bumper - do you have a 99 duct to the oil cooler - or are those myths like dry land in the move waterworld? A straight-on shot of the oil cooler openings would be great as well.
Thanks!
-Bob

Hey Bob,

Feed sides.. Well, for this car, I didn't want to do any damage to the body by screw anything in if I didn't have to. What I did was used the fender bolts and the rear guard screw holes. In the middle, I cleaned the area really well and used 2 sided 3M tape.

Oil coolers.. I don't have the oil cooler ducts for the 99 bumper (There is NO mazda 99 oil cooler ducts). I used to have the R-magic ducts but its on my MB. I'm currently debating if I should put my 99 fog lights or not. If I do, you can't use the ducts. If I decide not to use the 99 fogs, I'll probably buy a pair of R-magic cooler ducts. Those fits very well.

Damn Phil, I *know* that SMIC cost a mint.

Why the old school toilet bowl emblems on the nice new bumper ?

Rich, that SMIC wasn't cheap but gotta pay to play.. yo!

I was testing out to see if I like the old school toilet bowl or not... I do have the newer emblems too. I think I'm going to keep the old emblems as looks like everyone uses the flying m.

Yeah, I've seen them go for like $1500 and more on yahoo auctions japan. Crazy.

For those wondering, the R-Magic 99 oil cooler ducts fit very well. They've also proven to be very functional on the road race track at keeping oil temps at reasonable levels with R1 dual oil coolers, even running 15 psi boost on a single setup. Phil is correct, you can either run the fog lights or the ducts, but not both.

Phil, in regards to the FEED turn signals on your MB RX-7; do they (FEED) make covers for them?

I don't have the KN filter info with me. Ill try to post.

Regarding the Feed cover... Far as I know, you can not get the lights or the cover unless you could provide that you have the real Feed bumper. I have the covers but haven't put them on.

Update...

Well, I'm currently working on couple of things..

1. I'm working with DBA Australia to bring RS/RZ/Spirit-R Rotors made in 2 piece, their special paw design for USA market.

2. I'm also trying to use their 5000 series rotors with my Alcon BBK. Only thing I have to do is get a rotor hat made for it. This would be great as DBA rotors are cheaper and better designed.

If any of you have Greddy/Alcon BBK and need new rotors, PM me.

And finally, after a bit of a wait, my last bits for mounting the 3 Rotor on to FD subframe stuff from Defined Autoworks is in the mail. I'll post that stuff here also... Or join me on my facebook page for all the pics and updates

Looks good phil! Did you modify the diffuser much to make it fit smoothly with the rear arches? I'm in the process of cutting mine to fit the bottom edge of the bumper, then drilling holes to bolt it from underneath.
