Kai...I am very interested and curious about your intercooler setup...did you do it yourself, or did you go to someone to get it done? What kind of performance are you getting? Do you find the horizontal more efficient than the "V" style?

Didn't lips come with all R1 models? How can that be bad taste?
In any case, I applaud people who take Blood Sweat and Tears and the $$$ to go along with it to make their own masterpiece. In my opinion, the only thing that doesn't classify as tastful is something that is done by cutting corners. But that is my opinion... what do I know

so if my intention is to own a nice looking car that i can daily drive around, and i "rice" up my car to make it look more exotic, wouldn't that be a direct positive effect to the functionality of a car?
but you're probably going to say how its intended for the track, of course thats why mazda put the whole package of daily driving utilities in the rx7.

I'm of the opinion that you are so down on other people's modifications, because you lack the individuality to be different. I bet you wish you had the drive and dedication so many enthusiasts on this site have to customize and have fun with their vehicles.
You may find security and comfort in being so boring and snide. But your lack of creativity doesn't give you the license to look down on what other people are doing. This has nothing to do with age, length of ownership, street VS. track, modified VS. Stock. What this boils down too is your, insecurity, ignorance, and misplaced sense of self worth.
You would do well to appreciate the work people are doing, even if you don't like the style. One of the coolest things about car culture is the love people have for their rides, and what goes into them. Something we can all appreciate, across brands, styles, etc. But it seems you prefer to hate on people and look for the negative, I think that is pretty lame, and you need to figure out why that is, it seems pretty obvious to me.
