dumbass! (and you kinda deserve it, nothing personal) thats classic, do you not use a short shifter? didn't notice when you were in fifth? I'm going to remember this for some time, maybe I'll tell my kids the anecdote in 30 years, not that they'll understand, but, anyways

 

I dont have a shortshifter but I do have a mazdaspeed c/f shift ****. its way smaller and lighter than stock.

Im not making excuses cause ...come on...nearly 100 runs at the drag strip? LOL.

At the track when I was racing with my helmet on, plus the adrenelan rush kept me from realizing I was in 5th. on the street I could tell immediately I guess cause the engine got quiet, lol.

 

how come I never broke my 5th gear syncro? I though missing 3rd and going into 5th should break it?

I must have done that at redline....what...60 times at the track?

nope. Its so hard cause I have to watch my boost gauge, my tach...then of course I had just launched the car at that point....

Remember im the guy that runs a 13.0 @ 112 with a 2.4 60, it that tells you anything about my drag racing skills.
