i have just bought this car and it used to boost all the way to 15 psi. this is what it has from what i know. upgraded ecu, lg intercooler, profec b, aftermarket raditor, cold air intake all from m2.. This all started after i flooded the heck out of it. Now that its drivable now the booost isn;t like it used to be. The profec b from what i can tell is all plumbed into the vaccum lines but the electrical isnt. now this isn;t new, i was getting my 15 psi without the profec being electrically wired in. So this is what happens, i goto 3/4 to full thottle and the car startes to accelerate fine up to 10psi then its like it hits a brick wall, no more acceleration, its like the somthing shut the car off and back on, i get off the gas alittle and it acts fine. i can gradually give it gas and it will go though the 10-8-10 boost pattern. What im going to try is the unhook the battery, it might be running in safe mode. but what if it doesn't work any ideas, thanks for the help

What is your vacuum reading at idle?
Boosting 15 psi is not a good thing, even with an upgraded ecu (I'm assuming it's M2, from your discription). I don't believe M2 supports 15 psi. You might want to check with them.

There is a possibility that you have hit fuel cut. What does your A/F gauge show? If you don't have one, get one, it's a must.

I was going to mention that it might be a stock solenoid valve until you said it had a boost controller. That was similar to the problem I was having. I got an AVC-r and it fixed it b/c the stock solenoid was no longer in use.

Also I don't believe I would run higher than 14 psi even on an aftermarket ECU. More problems will arise, I assure you.

BTW, where are you located in Arizona. You know about the RCCAZ club?

That's what it sounds like to me is the fuel cut.

trex-- the vaccum is setting at 10-12 at idle depends on if its warmed up or in gear. i talked to the m2 ppl and they made it sound like i could run about 15 w/o any problems

mr_jonboy i live in flagstaff,az Just about 7000' in elevation. I just found out about that club rccaz.

i also have a greddy exaust and down pipe. i think the pipe is close to 4" all the way back, its huge to say the least.

thanks for the reply guys, im starting to pull my hair out

Yeah, we just had a meet at the Scottsdale Pavillions on Sat. It was pretty cool. I think we had 6 or 7 3rd gens there. We went out and messed around with our cars afterwards and did some filming. The website just started but if you are interested in joining just email Tim and let him know you talked to me. He is very cool guy and will sign you up for free. It is a good thing to do just to get leads on mechanics if needed.
