is it worthwhile to wrap the rat's nest?
Been wondering about this for a while.
Is it worthwhile to wrap the rats nest in some kind of heat resistant wrap/shrouding to help preserve it? I've read some threads from some of you who have covered it in some shrink wrap stuff and others who have used some heat reflecting stuff from DEI. But I wonder if it makes a difference?
If the rats nest was in a different location where it got some air flow, I wouldn't question it. But given its over the block and under the intake manifold, it seems like it be in an oven of sorts. Even if it were wrapped in some heat reflecting material, it would be surrounded by heat emanating engine parts.
Opinions please. Thanks.

I think the better option would be to wrap the UIM and the block, if possible. That'd keep the heat inside, and away from the rats nest. But then again you don't want heat in the engine so that probably wouldn't work.
It's not worth it, just leave it be. Or.... go non-seq
