wierd vibration...help

ok so im driving home and all of a sudden i start to get this wierd vibration in my rear end. it does it wether im in gear or not, and if the car is on or not.....and yes the rear lug nuts are on tight....any ideas????

I hope you mean your car...

Does it vary with speed? You could've thrown a wheel weight.

To be safe, check your rims and suspension for damage.

^ that was hilarious. you cant really feel an off balance wheel unless its on the fronts im guessing something else, but you could check it anyway.

Check the tires for a tread separation or damaged sidewall. You should be able to see or feel a bulge in the tire tread or sidewall if you have one.

well the night that it happened it was dark and raining. so i could not see very well.
needless to say i was minus a few wheel studs

Yeah Tell Me About It. But Replacing A 1.25 Piece, Having To Use A Machine Shop, Tow Truck, Plus Shop Labor......its Expensive
