Angry Wierd sound coming from my tranny.... i think...

Ok, listen to this everyone... When my car is cold it is exytra loud, but when i have the clutch is in, there is no sound, But when the cluth comes out it makes a wierd noise, kinda like a ruff rubbing sound, but not a grinding.
it does it a little bit while im driving as well, buts not nearly as noticable, the sound sounds like it is coming from under neath my shifter, or right where my deck would be, if it wasnt stolen.. Please help me out... And if anyone has any suggestions about a nice exhaust system for pretty cheap, i dont have a lot of cash, So your help would be awsome!! Untill now you guys have been great, Please keep the Help comin.

Peace
-Ben,

that happened to mine also, it was about 1 yr ago when i redlined 3rd gear, and little noise came out from the transmission. noise wasn't very loud but i was a little worry about it, and i change the transmission fluid, and helped a bit, but as time goes on, noise become louder, it makes the most noise when i leave it in gear and no throttle no nothing,
anyway, it's about 1 yr ago when this happened, now is still good, so i am not really worry about it right now
plus i drive it like once a week now only

and sorry, no idea about ur clutch problem.

exhuast wise, i dunno also, since i only had one exhuast system for my car, it's a nice catback system --apexi n1 single catback, they should be around $450
sounds good, not THAT loud, other than that i dunno about others, racing beat should be pretty good, heard tons of ppl on the forum saying good things about it

I have the same problem, well not anymore cause my car doens't have any tranny or clutch anymore. It is most likely one of your bearings. Pilot, or throwout bearing, they are about 10 dollars a piece. But! But...you have to take out your drive shaft, tranny, and clutch to access the components......sorry to break the bubble man. Or!!!!!!! It could just be low on clutch fluid, or you need a new master cylinder
