Unhappy wierd nosie

My fd is making some weird noise, I can't figure out where it is comming from.
It's like a arcking/jittery nosie at a certain rpm, about 2500 or so. I am thinking it might be a vacuum line but I cant tell. I did replace on of the check valve comming from the pressure chamber on the top.
What is it?
thanks

Tell us more about it. Does it happen every time you reach 2500 rpm? At WOT only? Try to find out where it's coming from.

a lose pre spool actuator will rattle like crazy and also your primary boost will suffer.A whistling noise suggests a intercooler coupler may be torn.If the noise is coming from the air pump area my guess is that its the y-pipe coupler.Ive had this happen countless times.Which is why I just finished installing my efini y pipe today. No more coupler to worry about.

Is the pre-spool actuator the one on the y-pipe? I was wondering about that because mine seems loose, when I flick it with my finger it rattles quite a bit. I was looking at that because under boost I get this strange fluttering rattle sound coming from that area and it is pretty damn loud. At first I though it sounded like the turbos themselves having problems but they are way too new to be going out already, plus they boost much to nicely to be getting weak.

I was looking at it and doesnt seem there is a way to tighten anything up on it, iis that just something that needs to be replaced?
thanks

I occasionally have a weird noise as well, but mine only occurs when the car is cold/er, and goes away after driving a bit. It sounds like buzzing, and it happens right around 2500-3000 rpm, and mainly on deceleration. Any ideas?
