Whuups i pulled a wire!

Im pulling my alternator to get it checked. I ran into a new problem. See pics. I looped a wire into a coupler.

When I pulled it, the wire came with. I have also included a picture of where I think one side goes, but am clueless on the other end. Suggestions from those who know? No guesses needed.

It depinned. See if it will push back into the connector.

It's buried back behind the power steering pump. You'll have to go digging to find it.

this connector? the inside suggests its the culprit and the wire does reach it from where it would have been.
what is it? something for the power steering? What happens when its not connected?
My steering ratio in parking lots is HUGE, I was thinking it was me. I remember back to when I did my sparkplugs and the two situations are starting to make a story.

That is the power steering load switch which raises the engine rpm under enough pump load

interesting, I have not noticed anything weird with that. i mist have just pulled it then when I pulled the hard pipe.
so it is the connector my wire pins back into? Just making sure before I proceed.

ok I am 90% sure this is it. this connector does hook up to the front harness.

I found this image when I finally found the proper name for that piece: pressure switch connector.

Thanks guys!

It goes to the connector labeled power steering pump in that picture, the one you have in your hand.
