where is engine serial # 13b

I saw engine from jdm In junk yard,,
it came with front new bumper like this:


what is the big different if it is spirit r engine?
and how can I know what series this engine ??

However, that's not really going to tell you much. The easiest way to know what you have is to look for the "rats nest" under the UIM. Look to see if it has the "black box" solenoids as pictured in this thread:

rats nest will not tell you 265 vs 280 PS Hp engine, as it is used in both. 280PS engine has updated parts designated N3G1, however it stillused a number of parts from '96 JDM engine N3F1 and all the way back to our N3A1's
