Question Where do you guys buy front control arms or ball joints from?

I'm thinking of replacing my ball joint because it makes a sound sometimes when I steer or brake, and was in utter shock when I saw that I need to buy the whole control arm instead of just the ball joint. I've searched and the only places where control arms are available are on atkins and mazdatrix, and even they don't have the LEFT front lower control arm, only the right one. Where can I find a new OEM (or maybe not oem replacement that is of good quality like hardrace for example) front control arm? Please someone help me

Ccfablab makes a ball joint replacement kit with std length ball joints or extended.

I've tried accessing their website, but it seems to be down. I don't know how long it's been that way.

Web site is working.

https://ccfablab.com/

I remember there is a link that is dead somewhere here on the forum (I think it was to an older version of the ball joint replacement), but even going through that link, you can still get back to their homepage, and navigate from there.

Ray Crowe at Nucar would be my first call for OEM control arms - and other OEM parts.

Beyond that, I've had decent luck with the aftermarket control arms by Mevotech, Moog and Dorman for Miata control arms. Haven't tried the FD parts but there is an old thread on the forum about this.

I've tried and it doesn't work here in Romania. Maybe their peering is down.

Matey sells indivdual or kits of the spherical joints in Australia, I think Mazda Australia do too. There must be someone in the US that carries stock, if not your exchange rate would mean buying from matey or RHD Japan probably won't hurt you too much.

Good point. In addition to RHD, there are some people on ebay selling OE parts from Japan. Might want to check there too. Or get the CCLabs.

I think the OEM FLCA ball joints are pretty robust on a street driven car and typically last a long time. I understand you have noise but weren’t too specific and didn’t mention mileage or car history. Things like UCA bushing can make noise but appear pretty normal visually. And I think they’re available in both OEM and aftermarket urethane.
If you haven’t already you might double check to make sure the ball-joints are the source.
