where did everyone mount their profec?

I have a profec installed but it's just perching in the glove box right now. I have plans to relocate it under the stereo system but don't know where i should do it. Does anyone have any pics of what they did?

I actually installed mine in place of the crotch vent under the steering column. It fit perfectly, it's out of the way, and it's kind of a sleeper look with it's current position. I you have the switch that attaches to your steering wheel you're set. I always laugh at the reaction I get when a passenger looks over and realizes I've got goodies hidden away. I just give them an evil grin and a wink.

What profec? If it's a "b" I wouldn't run the hoses that far, it may affect the response time. Mount it near the headlight. I bolted mine to the Pettit cold air intake shield.

It's hard to tell but I made a leather thingy that fills the glove and the Profec slides into it. My a/f sits on top of it and yes I can close the glove too.

Mine, a Profect B, is mounted just behind the steering wheel on the plastic piece that covers the column. Makes it very easy to adjust and switch settings. I have the steering wheel mount remote switch but with the unit mounted where it is now I have never bothered to install it.

mine is mounted right over my steering column. easy access and doesn't obscure the gauges.

I have the same setup but mine could use some improvement...

Mine is behind the steering wheel on the column covers. In the engine it is by the ABS.

I got a Blitz DIN panel for the profec, turbo timer and an oil temp gauge. I should get it all installed one of these days...

Just left it in my glovebox, but I might try to put it in the crotch vent.
