I don't think a lot of people realize what is inside the stainless lines -basically clear plastic tubing, similar to what is used for the DIY lines and the factory lines.
By using the stainless lines you're not getting something completely different as much as adding a protective stainless cover to plastic lines. Here are the pros and cons I see to the two options:
Clear lines:
-much cheaper
-much easier to cut/work with
-added piece of mind of being able to see if oil is going through them
-lighter
Stainless
-almost completely eliminates the risk of the lines being cut by abrasion.
-more kink resistant, although more difficult to tell when you have kinked it.
-sold as a bolt-on part by RX7 stores.

do not use the OEM lines, as everything in the engine bay they become brittle over time and eventually crack, trust me, it cost me an engine fire to my previous FD.
Nevertheless, if you are replacing your lines, don't be cheap and buy the stainless lines.

You need to think about what your saying. Not one person on this forum is going to install a brand new OMP when they do a rebuild. Everyone is hoping the original pump will last many more thousands of miles. With that being the case, why would you recommend this stainless product and completely eliminate any chance of you checking to see if the OMP itself is actually still functioning over time during routine maintenance? With stainless, you will never know if your OMP is actually working. The clear OEM style lines are perfectly fine. How do you know it wasn't your fuel system that failed? There isn't enough heat in the engine bay to catch oil on fire. If that were the case, any engine that reached oil temps of 250+ would just burn up. Engine bay temps don't get that high. Also considering the internal pressure isn't even hi for the OMP, those stainless lines are completely unnecessary.
