Where to buy new rx7 engine

I was wondering if there was a place online where it would be possible to purchase a new or low mile rx7 engine. There is an rx7 for sale in my area with about 100k miles, but i dont not want a rotary engine with that many miles, so i was looking to drop a new one in. Any information would be appreciated, thanks

Man you're in cali there are a ton of places. You can't really get new mazda motor but you can get one of their rebuilt motors.

My suggestion and i think lots of people will agree is to take the car and rebuild the existing motor. It's pretty much the same thing as gettin one from mazda, new seals everything BUT you can get your motor ported and 3mm seal at the same time. It will save you down the line from more headaches.

Ok this might sound dumb, but could you explain rebuilding the motor in detail? Like what exactly needs to be replaced and such

Mazda sells remanufactured rotary engines. These are used engines which are rebuilt with all new seals and o-rings. They replace all out of spec parts with brand new ones. I beleive they have 1 year warranty on them.

the best engine builder IMHO

call nick at rotary reliability and racing in santa ana.

7148398018

he has done many of our engines and has over 20 years experience with rotaries. his prices are reasonable as well.
