I'm doing some research and would like to know what the weight distribution of the 3rd generation RX-7 is. I know it's close to 50/50 but I'd like to be more precise. Does anyone know, or know where to find this?

Also, what is the fuel capacity of the 3rd gen car?

 

I don't know how specific you need the weight distribution. I can find out the exact pounds if thats what you need.

 

Can you tell me the exact pounds on the front wheels, and the exact on the rear wheels? That would do it.

 

I had my car weighed (94 R2) on a corner-scale setup. I have removed a bunch of the heavy stuff (stock battery, stock downpipe, stock cat, etc) so it's a bit lighter than stock.

Pretty darn close to 50/50 on all 4 corners with half tank of gas and me in the car (we weighed with me in and out of the car). Not perfect tho. :)

 

Mazda of course claims a perfect 50/50. The tank holds 20 gallons.

 

I weigh 240 lbs to Scorpio's 177-lbs in '99.

My '93 R1 weighs 2750 lbs with a full tank of gas, empty, no driver...
