That's what it looks like and sounds like. Get a new clutch! Try gettin a stage 2 or 3. Best thing you can get to improve your launch!

Hey is that the same as the ACT SS = Street/Strip clutch? If so, how comfortable is it for daily driving compared to factory clutch?

Thanks.

That clutch is SLIPPING!
Dan: The ACT SS clutch is fine. The clutch pedal is just 40% stiffer then stock because of the upgraded pressure plate.

I have the act with the ss disk and extreme pressure plate. Its very streetable and its just alot stiffer than stock which I personally like alot better. I hate a clutch that feels like it cant keep up with my foot. I want that clutch pedal to release faster than I can keep up.

That clutch is toast! My ACT s/s seemed just a tad stiffer then stock, maybe 10 -20%.

Looks like some hardcore clutch slippage by the way the RPMS rise in whatever gear he is in at the beggining.

I also recomend the ACT SS w heavy duty pressure plate. I have been using for for about 2 years in conjunction w a 9.5lb flywheel. I do a lot of city driving and it's fine, just takes some getting used to.

screech?! what are you talking about? We're not saying the clutch is slipping because of noise.....

Slippage

What is the year and mileage do you have on your car? The '93s were known for inferior clutch material and were worn out by 50K. I purchased my car with 54K and needed to replace the clutch almost immediately. Mazda improved the clutch for '94 and up.

Dude--you're messin' up your flywheel when you do that ****. Don't mess around until you've got your new clutch. Also--don't beat on the new one for 300to500 miles to break it in properly.
