What's this Worth?

I'm wondering what this car is worth? Figured experienced RX-7 owners could help me out.

Here's a picture, check out ebay.com for details.

Thanks

That thing is set up to race. The question seems to be...is that the orig engine? That's high mileage and you know that it's been run hard with all those mods. nice lookin car tho. I'd just have the cash for a new engine available.

screw the interior pieces...check the compression...check for oil residue on the turbo housings...check the operating temps during a test drive...thats where ya need to look.

switches are cheap....engines and turbos...yikes

if its all good 18-19k...thats all Id pay for a hard driven modified seven...ever.

this whole engine reliability is killin' me. Originally I was looking for a supra MkIV, because they're almost bulletproof. Personnaly I like the style of the Mazda better, but I need something I can drive without worrying about it. I'm not sure if coming across this car was a sign. That's why I'm getting opinions from owners and enthusiasts.

One more thing, I live in Ontario, Canada and the car is in Texas, so it better be a REALLY good deal for me to travel to get it and then pay for duty.

After being through the "I purchased a lemon" thing, I would never purchase another FD without having a compression test done on it.

I've already lived through that nightmare. Trust me, you don't want to either.

Don't put money down on a FD until you can physically see it, drive it, and have it tested. It's just not worth it.

amen to that...and ask anyone here....have an everyday beater to drive too. I looked at the supras too, but liek the rx-7 style better. Not to mention I spent a lot less money on the front end. It's the back end costs that will get you, but then you get to make the car what you want it to be. Catch 22. I love driving my 7 tho...you forget all about the downsides and everything when you get in and drive.

That car looks like a great street car...most of the comfort stuff is still there and full interior.
