MI Whats it worth?

Greetings everyone...i'm new on the site. Have a 2010 GT-R that i am selling in order to purchase a '93 RX7 with 28k miles. Drove it today and runs great. Small cosmetic dings here and there but overall in really nice shape. Is silver w/black interior. Wondering what might be a fair price. Guy is asking 15k which seems pretty fair to me. No mods and tires and brakes are good. Thoughts? Thanks in advance for your feedback. (have always loved the RX7's looks and performance)

If that's the true mileage, if it's clean and unmolested, and it runs good, that's a very fair price.

28k miles is VERY low. Also, you have the more desireable black interior, swapping a tan to a black interior is crazy money.

Good luck!

Dale

I agree 15k is a great price. Just look through the classified section of this forum and you will get an idea of pricing.

Thanks guys...appreciate the quick feedback. I've got a picture of it which I will post in a cpl minutes so you can get an idea of the overall condition. I think its a pretty good price and the current owner (he's the 2nd owner) is really **** and seems to be very meticulous. Still has original window sticker! Thanks

If you get it checked, and post the numbers, you wont even have to worry about what they "should" be. lol.

Uh...excuse me but...WHY would anyone sell a 2010 GT-R, a car that exemplifies modern performance, for a 20 year old car?
Makes no sense.

thats not entirely true...its a lot of fun to drive. if you've ever driven one you would know that. whats not fun about being able to car into corners far faster that you ever thought imaginable and live to tell about it! it is true that no clutch and all wheel drive have their drawbacks but at the same time they produce other thrilling aspects of driving. i absolutely love the gt-r...nothing to do with the cars performance/thrill factor. right now more to do with scaling back a bit.

I use Mircosoft paint and resize the pic to get the file size down. Look in the FAQ and there should be a buyers guide in there about what to check when buying an FD.

Thanks for the help....I think I uploaded a pic of the one I'm looking to buy. Has 18" wheels but comes with the original wheels and tires. Going to take it for a second drive today and will get some more pic's. Will also get the compression tested as I see thats a major concern. Seems to drive and pull just fine. Would it perform well if the compression was off?

Here's the GT-R. Will be sad to let it go but unfortunately, has to be done. Its fast as f*ck and, contrary to popular believe, it is a very fun car to drive. Granted I think something like an RX7 is more thrilling in the fact that you have more control over the car but there's something to be said about being able to drive on the edge and still have complete confidence that you are going to come out of the turn in one piece!
