I got my RX-8 to just bearly hit 140... that was scary fast enough for me... then i got my 7 and stopped paying attention to the speedo around 165. My PFC logged me at 179 top speed before i ran out of straight road.

I've had my FD at 162 mph and my FC at 140 mph. I was alot younger and dumber back then. There are so many cars on the road now, it's next to impossible to do that and truly feel safe.

Guess I'll post mine...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1g6lKYNCUJA

It's a 152 mph run that I did the second day after owning the car. Before you say anything, I drove for 50 minutes out of the city just to test the speed. Perfect straight road with no traffic or intersections. Since then I've been up to 160 mph. I don't get how you guys say that you start shitting your pants at those speeds, it doesn't feel that bad. My friend even said its not what he expected lol.

I pretty much lost most of the interest in these types of high speed runs after about 1-2 months. I'm a track junkie now.

I had my friend's stock automatic FD to 155 mph. It was on a long stretch of road. It got to 145 fast, but slow from there. There was no one else on the road, and I would have surely died if the smallest thing went wrong. I do not recommend it.

Cool Multiply by Point 6 to get MPH

Multiply by .6 X 240Kph = 144.0 MPH
