What's in this cat?

This is the exit side of a Bonez high-flow. The core looks fine, but what's that net thing?

That thing is probably what keeps the honeycomb suspened between the inner walls of the chamber. Could have slipped out from vibration/pressure/poor const.

I wouldn't sweat it unless the honeycomb is loose... if it bothers you, maybe try poking it back up there if you have a good set of scribes/pokers/pryers. Or maybe even a coathanger

mine did'nt have this sticking out. I would call Ari at rx7.com and send it back for a new one. in the lower part of the pic it looks like the wire screen has come apart.

Well, a new one wouldn't look like this obviously... The unit looks well used, so I doubt they would warranty it.

A piece of screen like that is nothing compared to the restriction caused by the cat material itself. I seriously wouldn't sweat it.
