Haha Thanks man.... Im not quite ready to walk away from this all yet. I will have my mind made up in august when the car is paid off. I figure at that point, I wont owe anything on it, and it wont cost a dime to sit there.... So I will see then...

FYI: check my first thread after coming back to the scene. It gives you some info on the costs I incurred bringing the car back from the dead. I did no work myself so this is probably on the high end. ->https://www.rx7club.com/introduce-yourself-254/long-time-lurker-saying-hello-877214/

I still think even with engine shipping, the sale/effort is much less than parting the car out. I know I personally would rather have someone come to my house and buy a complete car rather than dealing with multiple online/remote transactions, shipping and dealing with a bare chassis sitting there until someone wants a project.

I felt that way from 2002-2009, then I realize no one was paying for running fds due to the economy and the only way to move them was to offer them as rollers for $6500.00 or less. Unless you price a running car super aggressvie you will sit on it much longer than a roller. I dont think it has ever taken me more than 2 weeks max to sell a roller. There is always a guy out there looking to do some custom swap or thinks buying a roller and a j-spec swap will somehow save them money over buying a properly running car.

I prided myself in being the guy who always sold running fds and always putting cars back on the road under rotary power. The cars simply dont pull what they once did, if the economy recovers it would be great to see fds regain some of their lost value but I dont see that for several years down the road at the minimum.
