What size are the vacuum lines?

I'm about to replace all the vacuum lines on the 7 and I was wondering if anyone knew the size of the lines off hand. Are they all the same size or are there several sizes? Thanks in advance

Yes, 911GT2 is correct.
4mm and 6mm ID hoses.
For length, check hose technique. The length maybe excessive, but allows you to make mistake.

There are 3 hoses that are either 8mm or 10mm

Two of them are located on the plastic elbow that comes right off the primary turbo. I'm sure they are 8mm and not 10, i could be wrong. DEFINITELY bigger than 6mm.

Also the the PCV valves connects to the UIM throuhg a 10mm hose. It could be a 8mm, but I'm more sure it's 10mm.

Oh, word of advice, make sure you are having boost problems before attempting at replacing the hoses. If you're doing it for precaution, don't. Wait for something to happen then do it.

This is what comes in the Hose Techniques kit:

NOTE: HoseTechniques SVH kit contains:
- 40 feet of 3.5mm (all small solenoids).
- 15 feet of 4.0mm (Windshield washers and boost controllers).
- 16 feet of 6.0mm (larger air lines on engine).
- 4 feet of 8.0mm (larger air lines on engine).
... and SuperCutter, SuperSlitter, 120 Ties, decals and warranty card.

FWIW, I just installed one, and I have no complaints about the quality of the materials. I also agree that you shouldn't do this unless you're having problems. It's a PITA, and there are a number of posts about people breaking nipples, and having new problems after the hose job.

Good luck,

The only thing is that my idle is screwed up and I can't find any lines that show any wear in them or are completely off...so I figured that I would replace them all as I check them so that I know none of them are messed up. I can't pinch off the hoses that are in there now cause they're hardened from age and heat. So I don't know what to do now...the car is sitting in my driveway cause I can't drive it with the idle all messed up. What else can it be ya know...so I guess I have to do this now.
