What kind of retainer clip is used on Turbo Control Actuator?
Hi everyone,
I've tried using E-Clips (both metric and standard) and neither seem to fit right. What type of clip is supposed to be used here?
TCA - what clip is used on the end of the arm?

Thanks for sending the pic! From what I can see, it is the same type of clip I am trying to use (E-Clip/circlip). I've tried different sizes without success. I'll try again.

Bought some clips for something or other on the car a while back - can't remember what it was for now, do recall he standard metric E clip covers a mm or two tolerance, rather than an exact size. The standard clip rotates easily on the arm too.
If verniers can't get in there easily to measure the shaft, I might try plastacine, window putty or similar to work it out. I'd hazard a guess, you'd probably be looking at 4~5mm - packs of 50 (or maybe 100?), are a couple bucks over here in that small size.

Thanks MKD!!! 9957-50-400 is exactly the right part.
I'd hate to have the metric E-Clip fly off 100 miles down the road. It seems snug, but this clip is definitely designed for the application.

Yeah, once I needed one and I bought like 5 of them to have on hand. The OEM part is the way to go.
I think it's considered an E-clip.

Really glad I ordered Part #9957-50-400 per MKD's suggestion through Atkins Rotary. I had a metric E-Clip on there that seemed to fit ok, but Part #9957-50-400 gets much more "bite" and will hold much better. The standard E-clip may have worked for a while, but at some point it would have likely fallen off.
