1994 mazda rx7 LHD rack and pinion

Hello community, i am new to forums in general. Long story short i bought my car for 4k, i found it in a underground parking garage in downtown San Diego. I just recently got it back from renown racing, Eddy, the owner, put in a jspec 13b, v mount, single turbo, ecu, injectors and more but when i received the car i found out my rack and pinion in on its last leg. One shop i took it to said they could rebuild it but they failed, biggest issue is the gear is badly worn, no other shop wants to touch it. My question is what are my options since i can not find a part for it and rebuilding is not an option, are there any after market racks and pinions? would it be easier to convert it to a manual rack?

Contact chipp motorsports. He has a manual rack conversion service. I went through this process a year and some change ago. I sent my rack off to maval and got that explanation. They couldn't rebuild it because the thing was too worn. What upsets me the most is the steering and everything was fine but when they sent me the un rebuilt rack back, it all of sudden has this crazy binding issue where it will just lock up mid turn.

I didn't reinstall it and got super lucky and found one for sale here on the forum. So I just have this deadly steering rack sitting in my garage. If anyone is ready to die, install this rack.

It really can't be too hard to find a LHD US power steering rack. Look in the classifieds, there should be plenty out there.

Really the racks are pretty hardy, it's very uncommon for one to have problems.
