What grounds need to be improved

Title says it, where do we need to improve grounding on our cars? Engine block to firewall and ecu to body?

If your ECU is still using the O2 sensor, make sure the exhaust ground strap is in good shape.

I cleaned my factory grounds and simply added 10 gauge from battery to engine; battery to chassis and chassis to engine.

Ok is the battery to engine completely necessary? My battery is in the passenger bin. And I do not use the O2 sensor I have an Innovate there. Where are the factory grounds that need to be cleaned? I want to make sure I get them all. Theres the mp/cb connection to chassis and uim to firewall, others?

I ran 2 extra grounds over the weekend and my battery is in the passenger side bins. 1 from negative terminal (run the wire through the hole made for the ABS sensor wire) to the PPF and another from the block to the chassis.

Look for the black wire with a yellow stripe on it that is your main factory ground.

Notice black on yellow wire here.

The goal is to complete a circle...battery to chassis - chassis to engine - engine to battery.

Look beneath the spark plugs on the block.

I have a couple of questions for myself, as well as others. I saw this thread, and i had planned on this since a long while ago. I just never got around to it. In your best guestimate, how many feet do you think we need? Also, what gauge wire would you recommend? Last but not least, what size ring posts would you recommend? I figure if all of the information is easy to find, it might foster others to do this modification to improve their grounding system.

most important ground wire is from the back of the UIM to the firewall.. stock is a wire with a plastic clip... it tends to melt in the hot engine bay and have poor connection. thats the first one id replace. ive replaced all my friends who have 7's...
