What do all you guys do for a living?
I work at Applebees, which means anyone can finance a car. I go to a local community college, which affords me plenty of time to work. I live with my parents and that helps A LOT. My car's in the shop right now for a rebuild. I bought a PFS IC and intake for the car, Power FC, and Im having the shop do a bunch of other work while they're at it. Its all going on credit cards.....ill be in perpetual debt until summer time.
I'm 17, bought a bmw when i was 16, its for sale right now, that + money i've saved up doing various computer stuff and other misc jobs, hope to have fc as soon as i sell bimmer then by 18-19 a fd.

I'm 59, retired when I was 57. Have had my 7 new since Aug '92, 116K miles on it now, rebuilt engine at 78K. All the mods, running 13 psi, 337 rwhp. Also, have a PT Cruiser GT (Turbo) and a Jag S-Type. 10 years active duty in the Army, mostly Spercial Forces. 25 years in the Army Reserve, mostly Special Operations Commands throughout the world.
Private industry experience with 3 companies - GE, Memorex and Sun Microsystems (the last is why I was able to retire early on). Mostly corporate finance with some marketing.
For you younger guys (that's almost everybody compared to me, right?), get an education. I flunked out of college, but went back at night several years later. Picked up my BS and MBA in business. You may not use what you learn in college, but sure does grease the wheels.

I just finished up with college, working part time for all four years. Luckily I've managed to keep my stock '93 for the past two and a half years, half with my own money and half with parents help. Now its all mine and I work for an Economic Development Corporation/Shortline Railroad. Let the mods begin :-)

I also just finished up with college and currently work as design engineer for a brake supplier. When I graduated I bought a 7 and can’t seem to stop ordering aftermarket parts. It’s an addiction!
ENT/ Allergy physican. Sold my 1st RX 7 when we had our third child and didn't want to wait any longer to buy one again. There are fewer low milage cars out there and I found one with 40K, never driven on a highway.

and finally started S.W.A.T training
