What color?
I'm having my 93 R1 repainted and was thinking about racing stripes. But, I don't know what color. Is a red base coat. I was thinking maybe black or silver stripes. Two down the middle. Can anyone post some pics with a red base coat? What do you think?

Of course, starting w/red, how much of a pain in the *** is it to strip everything? I've been told it's pretty pricey. Does anybody have any experience with this?

I wanted stripes on my car for the longest time...they look great with a nice deep red. But my plans have changed slightly...though I still think they look great.
Here are some pictures of a car that I think looks MUCH better with the stripes on it. He originally had the stripes, and then had it repainted (yes, this ones been in all the magazines).

stick with it
stick with red so the engine bay doesn't look like sh*t. Maybe a darker red with a fade into the back panels...silver or white fade.
Don't go entirely different color unless you never open the hood.
Don't skimp on the paint!!! You get what you pay for!
