I have had three boost "leaks":

1. Coupler between crossover tube and IC -- twice, the second time was even with a very good clamp.

2. AWS hose -- wasn't properly clamped back on after some work being done on the car....

3. check valve in line between turbos and pressure chamber BROKE IN HALF!

The only one that cost anything was the check valve - whatever it was from Mazda ($30?).

poof

On my way to second day of trial for Jury Duty in Vegas. This Boxster is next to me at a light. So i just keep adding gas to stay ahead of him. Next thing, I know "Poof" It was like being back in my FC. I pull over and the crossover to the IC had popped out of the y pipe.

Same hear about the coupler when I first got mine. It kept me from getting boost on the 2nd turbo.

I have had one at almost every connection or rubber hose between the compressor housings and the throttle body!

I have had a leak on each side of the crossover pipe. First it was the lower (y-pipe) connection - replaced the whole thing with the Efini pipe. Then the upper coupler cracked and had to be replaced. Seems like quite a problem area as lots of people have had the same problems.

I have one or more leaks right now...the most obvious is a hole in the actual crossover pipe from rubbing against the bottom bracket that broke off a long time ago. Anyone have an extra one.

Checked my crossover coupler and it seems fine.

So, somewhere between the TCA and the vac or press. chambers. Maybe just a solenoid stoped guaging.

All this has led me to one conclusion.......screw it, I'm going NON-SEQ !!!

My leak was on the y-pipe. The vacuum cap on the capped nipple that used to feed the CCV broke.

I had a lower intake manifold gasket leak which was causing me to lose some boost at higher rpms at WOT. The solution was to take out half the parts in the engine bay to remove the original gasket and replaced with a newer metal gasket.

I might still have mine. I'll have to go home and dig through my stuff to see if I can find it. I'll pm you if/when I do.
