The issue is stated in this thread. It is most likely an issue with CPU#2. There are some more detailed threads on CPU#2 issues, but I'd say for your issue, a new one would probably fix your issue. Check the FAQs, and do a search on "CPU#2" and "FD100". You'll find all the info you need. I was just tracking down a CPU#2 issue myself recently, and the threads on here got me pointed in the right direction.

Sorry who I bring back this thread but we’re the Fd have seatbelt warning light ? I own Fd 18 years now Europe spec and didn’t see any seatbelt warning light.

 

On the dashboard as you turn the engine over there is the brake warning light/abs, oil light then seat belt light........ I brought my fd3s in from Japan......... so mine has those lights.
I have found the problem by reading this thread is the IPU under the dash.
The hard part is finding one on line with out being ripped off.

 

94 Base model: When I turn the car on with seatbelt unbuckled: Seatbelt light blinks and warning tone blinks at the same time. Buckle the seatbelt and the warning tone goes off, but the seatbelt light keeps blinking for the whole drive. My issue isn't related to the window switch.

Working on it.... Will update if I can fix it. I have a bunch of FDs so I can swap parts between them to help figure it out soon. The blinking light is driving me nuts at night and I'd rather not just pull the seat belt light.
