so i am in love with this car... but cant figure out why every light in the car dims when i push the window switch . i dont even have a dome light... any thoughts?

 

the connections on your switches are probably corroded. The power for the actual window motors goes through the switch instead of going through a relay. Because they're corroded you're having to pull a lot more power through them.

 

It also could be that the windows are dragging because the window channel rubbers and flelts are in bad shape. This would cause the motor to draw excessive amperage.
