Not sure of the EXACT numbers... But the Precat is like 40 some odd lbs... The average DP is probably 8-12lbs. The stock catback is WAY heavy... Again don't know the numbers, but most ALL aftermarket catbacks are less than half I'd guess. Replacing the CAT with a high-flo can shed quite a bit too. My hi-flo is easily 1/3 the weight of the stock main cat.

Where did you get those numbers from Belvi? I have a gutted precat and it feels like it weighs more than 22 lbs.

I have weighed all the stock exhaust parts personally. Here's what I found:
pre-cat: 23 lbs
main cat: 30 lbs
cat-back: 34 lbs

Replacements I have weighed are:
RP SS downpipe: 8 lbs
N-Tech HF cat: 13 lbs
RB dual tip black CB: 31 lbs
GReddy PE CB: 28 lbs

Weight savings: 35-38 lbs, and you can get even lighter parts. Of course, lighter is generally louder, so you might want to get something other than the lightest parts you can find for the exhaust if noise is a concern.

I just like to know how much the stuff weighs. Never mind that I could probably drop 50 lbs off my fat *** for some real weight reduction. Replacing heavy parts on the car is just so much easier.

My latest weighing: the big RZ rear rotors, Wilwood NDL calipers, brake pads, lines, and caliper brackets weigh about 36 lbs total. I will weigh the stock parts they replace if I find myself with a bunch of extra time.

Seen the new JIC Titanium Exhaust yet? Is it really worth all that money?

Generally, light = loud. I am trying to make my car quieter, so I am no longer chasing weight out of the exhaust system. Stanless is generally lighter than mild steel because it can be thinner. I would expect titanium to be even lighter than SS. There is a lot of weight to drop in the exhaust system.
