wanting to go from non seq to seq what do i need?

hey so i've been looking into getting my bnrs from non seq to get onverted back into sequential. i remember there being a solenoid rack but i ditched that a while ago. i saw this on rhd japan and was wondering if it would work for the sequential system. <http://www.rhdjapan.com/jdm-low/Mazda-OEM-Unit-Vacuum-Solenoid-Housing-FD3S-RX-7-Kouki-99-Models-56016>.
i know i have to reroute the hoses based on the vacuum diagram but is there anything else im missing?

have your turbo's and manifold been physically modified for non-seq? if they have going back will be a problem..

does your Y-pipe have the butterfly valve?

the kouki rack will be a pita to get working on your zenki..

if your dead set on going back to sequential.. u might as well get after market solenoids and check valves..

just look for some of the write ups.. and do the steps in reverse

That's for the 16-bit ECU and harness on the latter year FD's. While you can make it work, you'll have to do custom wiring as the 93-95 harness connectors won't connect up to it.

It all depends on how far you converted your BNRs to non-seq. You will likely need another stock sequential turbo manifold, rats nest, hard lines connecting the turbo control and precontrol(along with other solenoids) to the wastegate, turbo precontrol and turbo controls, check valves, vac lines, pressure tank, vacuum tank, unmodified rear section of ypipe and both the ABV and CRVs, turbo control actuator and precontrol actuators.

It isnt horrible if you go simplified if you didnt weld the turbo precontrol door open or weld anything esle. However, it is more work than you probably think.

I have the stock sequential manifold, crv, and unmodified y pipe if you need it.

I'm pretty sure you bought those BNRs from me

You called BNR and he told you that he wouldnt need to modify the turbos? I'm almost positive that he either cuts out or welds open the flapper door in the turbine housing, along with deleting the prespool actuator, so you definitely cannot use the turbos in seq form as they sit right now.

hey what up goodfella, i never said that i didnt need to modify the turbocharger assembly just that i dont have to send the exhaust manifold. bryan at bnr just told that i need to send the assembly along with the rear piece of the y pipe. for 450 its comes with a replacement turbine housing (machined and ported), the actuator, and mod of the rear y pipe section.

Well, you don't have to send Brian your exhaust manifold, but you also can't use it as-is. If the flapper door was removed, then you'll need a stock unit with the door still functioning properly.
