Man oh man! I just glanced at the weather forecast. High of 75, low of 50-55, 0-10% chance of rain. It doesn't get much better than that! I hope it stays that way!

Since I can't make it, I'll have to live vicarously through you guys and your vids.

I hope one of you can get close to the attached times that were achieved using rotary power . . .

Well I think I am good to go. Got everything safety checked out, new balance and alignment, fluids changed and topped off and tools packed.

Heading up tomorrow morning. Safe travels to everyone.

Any news on the skid pad?

I've given up on the skip pad. Called 4 times spoke w/ the track rental guy and each time he told me he'd call me back after speaking w/ the cycle group so that's a no go which is a shame but hey I tried.

I'll RSVP for the cook out as well.

For Friday night I'll call Hoi (tokyo grill owner) and tell him we'll be coming for dinner.

All you need is a normally-aspirated 2-rotor . . .

Right before I loaded the car up:

It's super dirty. I'll have to wipe it down once I get to VIR. The new clutch is going to take some getting use to.

I'm hoping to be there when the gates open tomorrow. Hopefully we can all park together in the paddock. My car may or may not be out of the trailer, but here is a picture of my truck and trailer so you guys that don't know it can keep an eye out.

Also, feel free to shoot me a PM and I'll send you my number.

Brent

Sorry to hear that pat. I noticed you weren't on the roster.

I am here and hanging out at the hotel. Will be at the track around 6 or 6:30 most likely.

Everyone is here and having fun. Great weather and plenty of track time. I ran a 2:08 my first session out when I was shaking the rust off of me, making sure the car was solid, on old old tires, lower grade pads, etc, etc. Fritz and I will hit 2:03's this weekend...

Fritz put on fresh rubber and clicked off a 2:03 this afternoon. Dan/John will have the video with data overlay eventually.

I think everyone had a good time today. 2 more days or good driving.
