vacuum leak??

so i'm looking at this 3rd gen for sale and the guy says that it has a possible vacuum leak in the motor and the turbo's aren't building any boost. what vacuum line could it be? or could it be something worse than just a vacuum leak?

FYI, there are tons of vacuum hoses in these cars...it's hard to pinpoint this.

You better have a good rotary mechanic take a look at it before you buy it. If the car isnt building boost, it could potentially cost you thousands to fix it.

Red rex that doesnt happen to be the red car that Tyee imports on Vancouver island is selling is it? I was looking at that and after talkin to some rotor heads ive decided against it even if the car is $7,900cnd lol

Anyways best of luck with your FD hunt, its good to see some bc boys on the boards :P

Or it could be a torn $30 coupler, repairable using either a set of pliers or a screwdriver.
