vacuum hose soleniod problem(broke) help!!!!!!!!

hi,

today i started what is known as the hardest system to accomplish in a fd, the vacuum hose system. i bought sikicone hoses from tri point ($35 for 16 feet of 4 mm, not enough is it??) and i broke the nipple off the solenoid, then my firend broke the other one. i was glad it was the same one. i dont know what is is called or where to get it. in the vaccume hose diagram it is called the soleniod valve double throttle control. there are about 7 of them on the bottom of the metal vacuum hose rack. i broke the first one. (if you still dont now what i am talking about, it is letter G in this diagram:

)

what is that and where can i get it. if any of you have it, please pm me with a price. i really NEED this!!!!!! i cant drive my car without this. i need this asap and fast. if you have it i will pay for overnight shipping. will any other places have this (dealer, pep-boys of anything)

please help as you can see im desprate!!!!

You can get it from mazda if you need to. But if all else fails, you can do the poormans non-seq and drive the car that way until you get the solenoid you need.

I broke that same one! I just capped off the lines, all that is for is the double throttle. You just have to make sure that you dont boost too much before the car is fully warmed up.

did you cap off just the actuator or the rack nipples as well. i too just did the silicon lines and broke one of the nips off. Also did you remove the sol. and put a resistor in place of it? do you have any issues because of it? thanks !!

Oakridgerx7 I fixed that one and the car ran tons better when it was still warming up and the transition at about 3500-4000 was so much better! It actually stumbled pretty bad, worse as the mods increased. Replace it if you can, it is ok without it but you can tell a difference when it is fixed

If you disable all of the emissions on the car using block off plates, that is one that you eliminate anyways(double throttle) most people say that the FD runs better without this stuff.

I left the broken solenoid still plugged into the harness, and capped off the lines.
