V-mount install complete.....

Thanks you If you put the filters in the middle of the V not only would you be blcoking the intercooler, but you would also be blocking the radiator to a certain degree as well. This friday is when my dyno session is scheduled for. As long as my fuel system comes in on time I shold be okay. Plus I am converting over to non-sequential right now. But I should have numbers on saturday.

looks great man, nice craftsmanship.
i forget if HKS uses the bargain bin Dual-Drive filters on the Racing Suction intake system, but they are pretty weak, i have it on mine. you said you were considering going open, you should gain some major low end response i believe, i definetly did. only reason im still using it is because AZ is dusty and dirty.
im sure you know, but with open intake youll get that badass wssssssssss turbo sound isntead of the "sir sucking through sponge" sound

Scrub,
Did you ever get those dyno numbers? I was reading all the v-mount posts and came across this one which seems to be just left hanging. I'd be really curious as to what you saw on the dyno.
Thanks,
Dan

yeah it did. But it got traded to Gotham Racing for a Race Ported Reman and is already broken in again. I just needs to be tuned. Dyno numbers should come out pretty true unless the differential lies. Dan actually has a clutch that holds now.

Scrub.... do you have any idea if with your setup you could install a yellow top r1 R battery? I am in the process of buying the HKS RS intake and just purchased a 51 R and soon will be upgrading to a V-mount IC.
Please let me know.

Wow, this thread is old. While you're working on the engine just move the battery to the rear hatch or the rear bin. My battery isn't even in the engine bay anymore, I moved it to the passenger bin.
