Cool V-mount install complete.....

I must say, this has been one of the best projects on my car yet. The total install took about 3 days to complete. This is factoring in work and other things that prevented progress. Everything went in for the most part without problems. A little triming here an there, a few calls to Tom and a few to Chuck as well and the install was complete. Im still waiting for the AST bracket to come in, so I had to zip tie it for now. I have plenty of pictures to post so I will let them do the talking as soon as I can get them up. I had plenty of help from Dave (MakoDhardie) and Charlie (Stokdxiv). As far as performance is concerned. There aren't words for how well this setup worked out. Water temps stayed around 85-100 degrees Celcius and Air temp at cruising speeds is around 30 degrees and in slower traffic is around 45 degrees. I would guess that this temperature will drop a little when the vented hood arrives. The shields should help divert more air to the IC when they arrive as well. Throttle respnse is amazing. In first gear it dosen't seem to want to hold traction if you give it more then half throttle. I haven't really punched it yet. I am waiting untill I get the PFC tuned hopefully this weekend. We installed the Efini Y pipe, HKS J-spec intake, pettit resonated midpipe and Apexi PFC along with the V-mount IC and radiator. I would like to thank Chuck at Rotary Extreme for all of his help and knowledge. Also I would like to thank Jason for his quick response to a problem.

I have a bigger version of this one, but it wouldn't let me post it.

Dan: Congratulations! Fabricate a custom shield for the passenger side to direct air to your intakes. Tom

I have to take a few more pictures from different angles and I have to resize some of the ones I already have, then I will post them.

Take some pics looking inside the bumper from outside of the car. I'm just curious how it all looks from that angle.

looks blingaliscous!

Looks like the blingy intakes would get some nice cold air but without ducting to the IC and air flowing around it instead of through it, how effective will it be?

Dan, that looks really good man. You guys did an awesome job together, definitely something to be proud of IMO. Intakes look really nice too. It's hard to pinpoint which part looks the best. I read your post on the clutch too. Don't be scuuuuuuuuuuurt of the 6 puck . It's an endeavor every man must take sometime ! I'll let you drive mine if you want to check it out, just let me know.

I wonder if that really helps lower intake temps...

Thanks kevin, I'll have to show it to you sometime this week.

Vudoodoodoo- We figured that it may reduce the temps being so close to the Y-pipe and the downpipe. Can't hurt. My temps are normally in the 20 area.
