Type of Oil to Use in Shifter Well

Page J62 in the FSM says to fill the shifter well with 80 to 95cc of "specified" oil whenever removing transmission, etc. I can't seem to find what the "specified" oil should be. Just use the same as the transmission - 70 to 85 weight lubricant?

Thanks,

Jeff

same as the transmission----75w90. I always use synthetic in my FD and customer's cars.

I'd think any good 75w-90 gear oil would do in the well. Don't forget to grease the pivot ball and bushing.
