Turbo timer not working...

Hey guys,
I am having a problem with a Greddy Turbo Timer(older style). I know it's really not needed and I rarely use it, but I'd like to get it working again none-the-less. The deal is that it has worked in the past just fine, but one day just decided to stop working all of a sudden. It's got power and I can set the time on it but when I go to turn the car off and take the key out the turbo timer just shuts off along with the car itself. It's not kicking in like it should. If I have the car running and turn the car off only taking the key to the "Accessory" position the car shuts off and the turbo timer remains on and counts down like it's supposed to. I took apart the steering column and checked the connections, everything seemed fine. There are four wires for the timer. Could a specific bad wire/connection be causing this? Any advise is greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.

You don't have to hook up the parking brake wire if you don't want to. More than likely a bad connection....especially if it worked before. I had an issue like this. Turn out to be a resistor in the actual TT

Yeah, the TT is plugged into a harness that you can buy extra. No wire to the parking brake. I will redo all the connections again, but like 95R2 mentioned, I think the actual TT itself may have died. I poped open the case and didnt see anything bad/burnt, but can't tell much by that.

Burned out resistors can't be detected by the naked eye. It needs a multi-meter.
