Turbo oil return gasket

Anyone replaced the circled NO. 2 gasket with a rubber tube type gasket (from a tube)?

It would take 3 weeks to get one Mazda. Unfortunately no overnight parts from Japan here...

I need the car in less than 3 weeks.

Is it likely to seal properly? It leaks at present hence replacement.

Cheers

No one local has one? They are reuseable so maybe you can pick one up from a friend.

It is a metal gasket, take it out, clean it off, then apply a this layer of grey or black RTV on both sides and reinstall.

I bought one from Ray last week. Shipped to me in one day.

Oops, just noticed the New Zealand thing. That's a problem. I have reinstalled these with RTV with good results.
