Water doesn't effectively change your AFR's......to a point. It is not a fuel. I say to a point because there is a threshold at which it will slightly richen AFR's. However, this shouldn't be a factor in your case.

With this, when you add water only, you do reduce power. Depending on how much will depend on the affects of the system. Running more will just compound its effects. Reduce knock more, pull more heat, and you will make less power. This is where turning up the boost regains the lost power, and then some.

In my opinion, if you are only running to reduce detonation and cooling temps, a simple switched 315cc nozzle would be fine. I would also recommend a post turbo injecting location.

Congrats on the #'s. Is that ignition breakup causing the stuttering in the video? Hows the power feel? I couldn't imagine 500+ in a FD.

If you cant walk a NA Z with 500+hp then either your setup or driving is garbage.

That's a bit presumptuous...

At 405whp, with spark blow-out above 7krpms, I was running dead even with a 600whp Mach1 while doing highway pulls.

Running a legit 500+whp should put you WELL above any N/A Z... We are talking about a 3,340lb Nissan with 350hp at the crank, right? I don't see some bolt ons giving that car enough of a boost to run even with a 500whp FD.

But I obviously don't know all the specifics of the individual car in question.

I was going to say the same thing. My 450whp setup was running dead even against my friend's 600whp on pump gas supra (he tends to lie, I heard from sources he was running me on 104 and upped his boost to run me) from 60-150 and I started a gear high to get some traction since the power roasts my 285 BF Goodrichs like they were 195s lol. I also smoked my friend's 500whp twin turbo 370Z like he was going backwards. But either way great numbers buff and I hope you got that spark blowout/fouled plug sorted.

thanks and i was joking about the me beating him with a messed up spark plug its was a joke didnt think people would comment about it like i was being for real

also cant race like crazy on that road to much traffic...i have a decent size turbo so it takes a sec to build boost but once it does im gone...remember all motor power is there always so took me a sec to build boost even with the fouled plug and the sputtering
