trunk is always dirty?

any idea why my trunk always seem extra dusty and looks like road debris is sneaking into it???

How is your weather stripping? The only way it could constantly be getting dirty is because of an incomplete seal.

Maybe your extractor chamber is somewhat stuck and not working. It could catch dust comming from rear wheels easily.

That would be my guess too. Not only stuff from outside, but any dirt from inside gets blown around an ends up back there.

IMO, you're probably allowing that stuff in due to non-sealed areas in the back or under the car, since that is where the most dirt is blowing around. It then gets sucked in due to running with the windows open, generating a low pressure in the cabin and trunk.

obviously if i have my windows down, i expect the trunk to be dirty. but besides trackdays, having the same issue with the debris. Some good pointers here, thanks.
