nobody has ever had this strut brace? interesting? I guess I can figure out for myself that it will definately pose a problem with a engine torque brace. just wanted to see if anybody had any other opinions.

looks pretty cool. a lot like the old skool strut bars racing beat made for the 1st and 2nd gen.
my only concern would be properly mounting it to the firewall. my friend had one of the RB ones ages ago and it tore out of the firewall.

I don't see that helping you at all; it doesn't triangulate in any way. Those points on the firewall, while convenient from a location point of view, are not necessarily structurally sound (they're probably just sheet metal, and you're going to have to get to the back of them to weld plates/place a nut/etc to do it right). You never know if that part of the firewall is going to flex in response to stresses from the strut tops; you may end up even cracking the windshield.
EDIT: looking at his other designs, he really needs to take a statics class

The only triangulated strut bar I would consider would be the RE Amemiya version. It is expensive but there are few who could complain about their craftsmanship IMHO.
