I believe there is only a neutral switch and reverse switch, not individual gear sensors.

^ incorrect, the transmission has switches for 1st and 2nd gear. The boost control has a slightly different logic for those gears on a stock ecu. Check the wiring diagram and the service highlights manual for more details.

Edit: Shawn why do you want to know this? You have a Haltech.

Double edit, I figured out why....https://www.rx7club.com/haltech-foru.../#post11259362

what is the purpose of all 4 of those plugs?

the reason i ask, someone gave me a single turbo harness and it has everything except plugs for the transmission. it makes me think they are un-needed but in the single turbo harness write up, it tells you to keep them. i'll be using a pfc so i dont really know if they can be deleted without some kind of error.

the wiring diagram doesnt mention them at all and the only other thread i found with someone asking about them never got an answer. since this is a pretty relevant thread, to keep from making another one, i'll ask here:

what are the 4 connectors for on the manual transmission and which is which?

1.starter inhibitor
2.reverse switch
3.neutral switch?
4.
