Transmission Questions
Any links to websites or places that I could get either a new 5 speed tranny or my current one rebuilt? Thanks

It was just that, but now when I start my car...it will not shift into gear...not 1 thru 5 or even reverse...I just recently have had the engine rebuilt but the tranny has 130k miles on it so i'm thinking it needs replaced...plus I want to change the clutch out so, might as well do it as once...

Also, since the tranny is the original one from the car...130k on it...should I just try to find a used one with relatively low miles on it and just replace it?

If it won't shift with the engine off, it's probably within the tranny.
You could take it to a rotary shop, but any good transmission place can find the problem. In most cases, rebuilding a tranny will cost way more than using a low-mileage imported tranny. Those are $650 every time, while rebuilds usually end up costing more, sometimes much more.

i foresee more damage the more you drive and force into gears . somethings is obviously wrong. once my fd got stuck in 3rd gear and no amount of man power could pull it out . had it towed home from the track and had to have it completely rebuilt . ripped up alot of the insides just trying to pull it out of gear and getting to the pits in gear . IMO pull it fix it . you dont want to be stuck rather you decide when it goes down
