Tranny fluid ???? WHY SO often ?
Here is my problem:
My tranny fluid lasts about 1000 miles and then it goes to *****.... After 1000 miles the syncros HOWL! Then I change the fluid and it sounds and feel AWESOME!!
Why does it die so often ?
BTW. I use redline mt90....

Its in the gearbox.. Basically I put the car on the lift, Push it up... Then drain both chambers... Put the plugs back in.. Fill it up.. Drive it...
And Johnny is probably right... I may have something bigger.... DAMNIT

I have the same problem. I changed out my tranny fluid and at first the shifts were extremely smooth...it was great! But after about 500mi its like i hadnt changed it at all. I hope it isnt too serious either.
are you sure you are filling it up using the right hole? the one on the top is to check the level, use the bottom one to fill it up. it can be confusing with 2 holes there.

I have about 6k miles on some Redline Shockproof and now it feels like I never changed it. It did good for a while but now I'm going with NEO.
