Keep or ditch the spare?

Keep the spare tire in the back or eliminate it and add a little bottle of tire goo? For those who have taken it out did you place something over the empty hole in order to keep the carpet level? How much does the tire weigh anyhoo?

Not 100% sure bout everyone, but most people take out the spare and replace it with sub box. If you don't want to go that route, I am sure that the cover will hold up the carpet just fine, unless you put a lot of heavy items back there.

it depends on what you are doing, if you are going for cornering id say to take it out but if your dragging and dont have any suspension/tire upgrades, id say to keep it. when my brother draged his, he could not get any traction without the spare as well as a 80-100lb sub box.
